All About Me
I believe in creative collaborative approaches to the range of activities it provides that foster holistic growth in individuals and organisations to realise artistic goals.
Funded by Michelle Cahill in 2015, May Day Creates stems from the passion to empower and support individuals and organisations to achieve all their potential in their endeavours
Michelle’s ethos originates from her long career as a dance artist, choreographer and teacher. Her interest in creative and physical expression as means to achieve and connect with our own uniqueness, has always been in alignment with the necessary care and guidance towards the development of both the individual and the group. As a teacher and choreographer her impulse is to create safe spaces that enable people to experiment, explore and discover – and perhaps find a path to self-realisation.
This ethos is the drive behind May Day Creates, both when working with artists to produce ambitious new work across a variety of contexts, and when coaching artists for personal and professional development.
